The Ravens Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE BFAG HIJK J L LHML LFFL LDDL

The RavensA
-
Over the black creviceB
at noon the ravens rush with rusty criesC
Their shadows touch the deer s backD
and at times they loom in gnarled restE
-
O how they derange the brown stillnessB
in the one acre itself entrancedF
like a woman married to grave premonitionsA
and at times you can hear them bickerG
-
about a corpse they sniffed out somewhereH
and sharply they bend their flight towards northI
and dwindle away like a funeralJ
march in the air shivering with blissK

D ie RabenL
-
