Great friends we were
Before satan's trap we stepped
During that winter
We once ate together
We played and spent the little time
My friend had a call
A new job could land
He travelled years ago
To the city he went
A new life began
It is ten years
I haven't heard of him
His class rose high
His friends changed too
When I saw him come
I ran to kiss him in joy
His accent had changed
I never heard what he said
In a little voice I heard
"What this little beggar for?"
I couldn't believe my ears
I turned to tears
My breath slowed down
I felt silent and cold
