Rhyme Scheme: ABCCD DEFGDH IJKLM NOOPQE EPRST UKVWJ

This death can't be fairA
It has swept the world fieldB
From the villagesC
The towns and palacesC
I hear the voices of mourningD
-
The young children are cryingD
Their parents have gone a journeyE
A journey with no returnF
I wonder who will take care of themG
Some have left the breastfeedingD
They cry for the best foodH
-
This fine morning I met a little boyI
During such a cold momentJ
Was tending a herd of cattleK
I sympathized for what the little boy saidL
How he lived a painful lifeM
-
Remember he had no heavy clothesN
To overcome the cold dewO
His parents went at age of twoO
He kept no little memoriesP
The boy met a wild guardianQ
Who had no little mercyE
-
Some days the boy slept hungryE
While the rest stretched their belliesP
Painfully the boy did a heavy workR
Paid by stroke of canesS
And a sum of insultsT
-
I cursed itU
The act of molesting this little angelK
May those who do thisV
Disappear from the face of earthW
And rest to wait for the last judgmentJ
