The Best Times Are Gone Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHID JKLME NOKPB

How can I live to rejoiceA
In the world of terror and distressB
The best times are goneC
When real people used to liveD
Today only shadows are flowingE
-
When the bread was cheap those are the times I meanF
But now look at the topG
Only a few can reach the common goods of needH
Not even the flour that one can manage to purchaseI
I can't at all admire the lives we liveD
-
That time death was rareJ
Although people could die not like todayK
These days accidents are rampantL
Look at Plane clashes ships and vehiclesM
People are crying as the world color is fadingE
-
The leaders are fighting now and thenN
Instead of resolving the burden of manO
Their aim is to eat the best bread of the dayK
But the needy are hungry no one caresP
The state standstill all chaos just a messB
