Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIJKLM NOPPQR STUVW

The clouds far away spreadA
No stars no light from the moonB
Seemed totally darkC
From the streets deep in the roomD
We walked a stride by footE
No shoes no sandalsF
Just like thatG
-
Spines and thornsH
All over bodies bruisedI
Blood from the veinsJ
Their way they flowedK
Like a river to the streamsL
They made their wayM
-
No time to restN
No time to wasteO
Fast we were walkingP
Our legs limpingP
Swollen like a baobabQ
That day ever worst to recallR
-
The highlands were farS
Nowhere to be seenT
When we came nearU
Our bodies almost wornV
Nevertheless our hope still fullW
