I walked a farA
To reach the cliffB
I tried to climbC
But found it hardD
The steps were wide and easy to scareE
-
I toiled much to move aheadF
From far I heardG
A call from the abyssH
I looked belowI
My friends in a trapJ
-
Couldn't imagine to help my friendsK
Coming down the staresL
Terrible it wasM
But just a tryN
I saw it strange an encounter with the pythonO
-
-
I threw some stonesP
To scare the snakeQ
But nearly I hitR
My friend's faceS
It thought it wise to secure my lifeT
-
With much I could doU
I perceived it futileV
I saw it myself that life is fragileV
It swallowed him wholeW
And non was seenX
-
Whom to blameY
Was it my friend the snake or bothZ
With me I tried my bestA2
To have him restA2
I went my way and found some silverB2
But just a waste I lost my friendC2
