I walked a far
To reach the cliff
I tried to climb
But found it hard
The steps were wide, and easy to scare
I toiled much , to move ahead
From far I heard
A call from the abyss
I looked below
My friends in a trap
Couldn't imagine, to help my friends
Coming down the stares
Terrible it was
But just a try
I saw it strange, an encounter with the python!
I threw some stones
To scare the snake
But nearly I hit
My friend's face
It thought it wise, to secure my life
With much I could do
I perceived it futile
I saw it myself, that life is fragile
It swallowed him whole
And non was seen
Whom to blame?
Was it my friend, the snake or both
With me, I tried my best
To have him rest
I went my way, and found some silver
But just a waste, I lost my friend.
