The Shark Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHA AEIJKLMNOPQ ACAIIBLIRS

He seemed to know the harbourA
So leisurely he swamB
His finC
Like a piece of sheet ironD
Three corneredE
And with knife edgeF
Stirred not a bubbleG
As it movedH
With its base line on the waterA
-
His body was tubularA
And taperedE
And smoke blueI
And as he passed the wharfJ
He turnedK
And snapped at a flat fishL
That was dead and floatingM
And I saw the flash of a white throatN
And a double row of white teethO
And eyes of metallic greyP
Hard and narrow and slitQ
-
Then out of the harbourA
With that three cornered finC
Shearing without a bubble the waterA
LithelyI
LeisurelyI
He swamB
That strange fishL
Tubular tapered smoke blueI
Part vulture part wolfR
Part neither for his blood was coldS
