I am at a crossroads.
Surrounded with people, yet alone.
Ambiguous and confused, for sure.
Not clear about my future,
because all I think about is her.
But she is miles away,
Too far to reach, to touch, to speak.
Trying to find a way,
Not to feel so wretched, so addled, so obsolete.
Can’t tell her, but want the world to know.
She never was a fling, neither at the Saloon.
I know she’s “hurt” but also,
she’s a Lioness howling at the moon.
