| for the very pores | B |
| through which our flaws | C |
| get washed to the shores | B |
| of people's mouths comes from our own stores | B |
| from the scars we left on the stock of people we have | D |
| those we despised and those we learnt to love | E |
| They were seen indeed in our deeds | F |
| and in the jars of secrets we left opened even in discreetness | F |
| And it was spread by those we left behind | G |
| more especially those who occupy our mind | G |
