In anquish and pain our hears are torn
As a beloved's death we mourn
Remembering a colleague, friend and mother
Lovingly missed by so many other
Yes, today we may cry out
Dear Lord, what's this loss about
Perhaps its so that we can see
By her death she's been set free
No more illness, suffering or pain
She is healed and whole again
Eventhough we may be sad
Remember the blessed life she had
Today we simply make the choice
In loving memory raise our voice
Focussing less on her journey's end
But celebrating a life well spent
ComfortIng family as they shed tears
Remembering all the precious years
Encouraging them to depart with love
For she now lives in Heaven above
An end is brought to life on earth
A new beginning in Heaven is birthed
