Life is dicey
pLay it not in fear or hesitation
Victory garlands those who are brave and daring
Worrying about loss is meaningless
Empty handed we descended on this Earth
So we will depart similarly for certain
Script is already written
Unseen, unreachable almighty is claiming the rights
Other claimants like clan, parents and family claiming their pound of share
Unforgiving life is trying to direct it like a dictator
How can they forget that I have mind and mission of my own
With the aspirations I cherish, though against social norms
I chose the path I should tread on, come what may.
At times seemingly self-defeating and destructive
Let it be, I shall own the outcomes,
If they are desirable, ascribing them to all
If not blaming none.
