A cowboy hat hanging on the wall
A rocking chair rocks besides his bed.
His wife inside is cooking corn.
He just parked his tractor from the farm.
He's got a guitar atop his couch,
His jeans and boots hang by the door,
His horse in the steeple is too black...
Too country. His home is too country.

Too much wisdom in his head,
You just see from the songs he sings.
Too much love in his heart;
You hear from the words he say.
Too much love for the family, and the home.
Why wouldn't it be?, The home is too country.
