The Horse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGHHIJBKLM NOBBBBPP

One question I have now is thisA
What kind of creature the horse isB
An animal who is exultant of his strengthC
And the brightness of his rustling maneD
Who made the horse to run so fastE
Who caused it to leap like a locustF
Who made it not to fear the harness and the saddleG
Who made it not to fear the harshness of the battleG
He is not shaken by the sharpness of the spearH
I seldom know an animal who laughs at fearH
He responds quickly to the sound of the hornI
He does not turn back because of the swordJ
When an enemy halts he says 'Alas'B
And when the horn blows he says 'Aha 'K
He smells the battle from afarL
But he will never turn away from warM
-
And the question used to drive me round the bendN
But now I do understandO
The answer to my question of courseB
That what kind of creature is the horseB
And I think it is obviousB
That I should call the horse courageousB
But the main factorP
Is to know its creatorP
