Seasons Of Love: The Floweret Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA AAAA AAAA ABAA

If love was a summer in the beautiful landA
And you would be the fragrant floweretA
And I the bee that looks for honeydewA
And that only I can get from youA
-
If love was a spring in the beautiful landA
And you would be the budding violetA
And I the slow rain that scatters the misty dewA
If it would be the best gift to give to youA
-
If love was an autumn in the beautiful landA
And you would be the last standing floweretA
And I the shielding rock standing beside youA
And in the morning I lay to you the one last dewA
-
But love is a winter in a faded landA
And the only glory in it is the fair white snowB
But I know that in the spring will bud a VioletA
And you are its only seedA
