And never care if it will be heardB

Write a song to the whispering lipsD
And let your soul dance and applaud with clapsE

And if you can even call her AnnabelG
And then look at the suffering womanH
And write a letter to the drunk old manI

Write a letter to the lake and the pondJ
And let a wise man understandK
Write a song to the forest and the treeL
And just hope the fool will finally seeL

Take a look at the rising fogM
And write praises to Jehovah GodN
And take a look at the ground mistO
And write praises to Jesus ChristP

Arrange the words with much desireQ
Let your heart be on fireQ
A fool will see and call it a waste of timeR
But a wise man will call it a poemS
