From Jesus who endured the CrossC

Scorning its shame for the joy set before HimD
He shed his redeeming blood at CalvaryE
Found in appearance of manF
He humbled himself in total obedience to deathG
Even the death on the CrossC

He brought salvationK

Out of His great loveL
Burning like fire in his heartM
His satisfying blood sanctified usB
Cleansing of all the impurities of mind body and heartM

I sing of the invaluable CrossC
Where my sin was forgivenK

Poet's note: The poem talks about the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was written in 2020 for everyone who believes the power of the Cross. I want to express my gratitude for the work our Lord Jesus Christ did for dying on the Cross in order to set mankind free from sin. I have been encouraged to believe that indeed through the cross at Calvary, salvation is given and my Savior finished everything.
