| I will drink to the ground until | C |

| to avoid the depth of the sea | B |
| I will go high and high beyond the | E |
| sky because I'm afraid of heights | F |
| I will blow off steam and spare my | G |
| cracked head | H |
| And sleep with no memory of yesterday | I |
| and no plans for tomorrow but | J |
| I will not sleep forever with neither | A |
| I've lost sight but there's still | C |
| something to hold on to | K |
| Time is still a healer and a chance giver | A |
| so I will sit smoke a cigar and | L |
| look in a mirror | A |
| And I will find myself within the ashes | M |
| of the past and the only thing I will | C |
| need is a reminder from the mirror | A |
