Isn't she lovelyA
I mean she takes good care of meA
She's the shy typeB
But whenever she's with meA
She walks so confidentlyA
-
Isn't she caringC
She doesn't just cook for meA
She does my laundryA
Not that it's my priorityA
Or a necessityA
She's just naturally angelicD
-
Where ever I amE
She's worried about how I'm fairingD
I can only imagineF
How well she'd make a good MummyA
I meanG
She's got so much great qualitiesH
-
Isn't she lovelyA
She really wants to see me succeedI
But then againJ
Her friends familyA
Are in a hurryA
To get her marriedI
But not necessarily to meA
Where does that leave meA
-
Isn't she for meA
Well the truth is quite scaryA
For time waits for no ManK
So I'm in a hurryA
Trying to crown the girl of my dreamsL
Make her my queenG
But then againJ
Unconditional Love changes definitionF
Because when it comes to menJ
Love is often conditionalM
Sometimes this makes me sickD
Of being humanF
NeverthelessN
I'm trapped in a stereotypeB
That barricades meA
From every compassionF
ConsiderationF
Or true affectionF
And I quote be a ManK
-
WellO
I've been working tirelesslyA
In order to make ends meetP
As well as making investmentsQ
That were out of my league financiallyA
But I'm afraidR
That it'll take a little longerS
For me to get readyA
Even though I doubtT
That they'll ever accept meA
-
Don't get me wrongD
My heart is ready But also heavyA
For the weight on my shouldersU
Are extra pounds heavierS
I know she wishes me wellO
I know she loves me genuinelyA
But sometimes I doubt that she trulyA
Wishes to be with meA
I know this isn't the kind of utteranceV
She'd expect from meA
If I pretend with everybodyA
At least I owe myself some honestyA
-
The truth isW
Right now More than everS
I feel like joy is around the cornerS
And the morning is drawing closerS
-
I said to her I had a dream about usX
But somehow in the dreamY
I couldn't touch youZ
And without hesitatingD
She says to me Maybe it's the realityA
Her response really saddened meA
But maybe she was rightA2
Maybe this was a signB2
Even thoughC2
I have no idea why I liedD2
For every time I saw her in a dreamY
We were holding hands tightA2
I lied in search of a hidden truthE2
A surveillance for my insightA2
A sad discoveryA
Yet it is my plightA2
-
I have no control over destinyA
I notice envy in the eyes of our friendsF2
Like Damn they're so luckyA
ChucklesG2
If only they knewZ
That we're just searchingD
For our happy endingD
-
One day she said to meA
Temi Whatever happens don't forget meA
LolA
Sounds like a catch phraseH2
From an epic movieA
-
ObviouslyA
I'm not quoting her for mockeryA
But if there's somethingD
I've learnt from all of thisI2
It's not to tie my Happy endingD
To the stereotypes people believe inJ2
Because life must go onK2
If she's eventually convincedL2
By her friends and familyA
That her Happy ending isn't with meA
Everyone struggles to conquer timeM2
How ironic that we still fall victimsN2
Story story Happy endingsO2
