The War In Me Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FAFA GHGC IJIJ

There's a war within meA
And my soul is at the endB
My heart is my enemyA
And also my friendB
-
The ladders are castC
Against the fabric of my mindD
My thoughts outlastC
The evil that tries to climbE
-
In the aftermath of the flamesF
Amidst the coals I seeA
Mind has played it gamesF
And not one deed left to beA
-
My heart is as the sunG
It burns and spurns gasH
And so my dear runG
This day won't be your lastC
-
Time will turn its mighty wheelI
And we will ride on its backJ
We will have a drink a mealI
With no room for hate and lackJ
