To leave in a wealthy way | C |
Which could cost me a sad day | C |
It was better I hd my prey | C |
Which is none but poetrys rey | C |

I think I would go sick | D |
When I try to tossingly pick | D |
From riches golden brick | D |
Which appears as a trick | D |
I think I would die quick | D |

For I know I'll one day climb | E |
To poetrys golden clime | E |
Through its silvern lime | E |
Which never cost a dime | E |
But only a sufficient time | E |
To get all itstreasure rime | E |

Give me poetry or I die | F |
For it vessels never lie | F |
And would take me high | F |
Even higher than I try | F |
As it's well never run dry | F |
And can of all treasure buy | F |
