Free men of God the New Day breaksA
In golden gleams across the skyB
The darkness of the night is pastC
This is the Day of VictoryD
For this our fathers stroveE
In stern and fiery loveF
That men to come should beD
Born into libertyD
That all should be as we are FreeD
-
Free men of God gird up your loinsA
And brace you for the final fightG
Strike home strike home for Truth and RightG
Yet bear yourselves as in His sightG
For this our fathers foughtH
This with their lives they boughtI
That you and I should beD
Heirs of their libertyD
That all should be as we are FreeD
-
Free men we are and so will beD
We claim free access unto HimJ
Who widened all the bounds of lifeK
And us from bondage did redeemL
Let no man interveneM
Or draw a vail betweenM
Us and our God for HeD
Would have His people freeD
And we would be as Thou art FreeD
-
Free men of God your Birthright claimN
Our fathers won it with a priceA
They paid in full to axe and flameN
Nor counted up the sacrificeA
This is our heritageO
And here we do engageP
Each man unto his sonQ
Intact to pass it onR
So shall they be as we are FreeD
-
Our Sure Defence in times of stressA
Thy gates stand open wide and freeD
When men provoke and wrongs oppressA
We seek Thy wider libertyD
With loftier mind and heartS
Let each man bear his partS
So to the final fightG
And God defend the rightG
We shall we must we will be FreeD
