African Balloon Boys Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ

When the sun rises up from its bedA
Sooner or later the scientists scream'dB
Racing from the cave of the nightC
They assembled at the eyes of the yellow sunD
And brought with them the kitE
Stirring the laundry pigment with a hollow rodF
Sipping it halfway then in the airG
Bubbled to manufacture touchless balloonsH
The scientists hither and thither ranI
Chasing the balloons chirping queer cheersJ

Poet's note: This is a dedication to young African children especially in my homestead who struggle inventing all that they imagine in juxtaposition to white's technology.
