Trees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD AEFG AHIH AJKJ

Of all the trees in EnglandA
Her sweet three corners inB
Only the Ash the bonnie AshC
Burns fierce while it is greenD
-
Of all the trees in EnglandA
From sea to sea againE
The Willow loveliest stoops her boughsF
Beneath the driving rainG
-
Of all the trees in EnglandA
Past frankincense and myrrhH
There's none for smell of bloom and smokeI
Like Lime and JuniperH
-
Of all the trees in EnglandA
Oak Elder Elm and ThornJ
The Yew alone burns lamps of peaceK
For them that lie forlornJ
