April Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAACCA DEDEDE

Come then with showers I love thy cloudy faceA
Gilded with splendour of the sunbeam thro'B
The heedless glory of thy locks I knowC
The arch sweet languor of thy fleeting graceA
The windy lovebeams of thy dwelling placeA
Thy dim dells where in azure bluebells blowC
The brimming rivers where thy lightnings goC
Harmless and full and swift from race to raceA
-
Thou takest all young hearts captive with thine eyesD
At rumour of thee the tongues of children ringE
Louder than bees the golden poplars riseD
Like trumps of peace and birds on homeward wingE
Fly mocking echoes shrill along the skiesD
Above the waves' grave diapasoningE
