The Rambler Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHIH

I do not see the hills aroundA
Nor mark the tints the copses wearB
I do not note the grassy groundA
And constellated daisies thereB
-
I hear not the contralto noteC
Of cuckoos hid on either handD
The whirr that shakes the nighthawk's throatC
When eve's brown awning hoods the landD
-
Some say each songster tree and meadE
All eloquent of love divineF
Receives their constant careful heedE
Such keen appraisement is not mineF
-
The tones around me that I hearG
The aspects meanings shapes I seeH
Are those far back ones missed when nearI
And now perceived too late by meH
