Sharlene - Time For A New Quirk Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGGHI DDHDJ KDLDM NOPQQ RSTUU VWXYZ

I was roaming in the streets of turmoilA
Sauntering in the labyrinth of falsehoodB
Nestled in the feminine cloaks of hood ratsC
When I suddenly stopped in response to a voiceD
Stop she whined tenderly from behindE
-
I turned to gawk but I saw no one on my rearF
'You must be wishing' I teased my thinkingG
Hoisting my left leg to continue stridingG
And lo she called once againH
This time more audible and unmistakableI
-
I was exhausted of serial hurtersD
Such as who went on heart breaking spreesD
And had sworn never to love againH
But the voice was insinuating otherwiseD
Unique but familiarly strangeJ
-
As I turned to chirp this time aroundK
My optics landed on the most glamorous faceD
She had a blue hoodie jacket onL
Written SHARLENE in uppercaseD
Her name declaring Liberty to myselfM
-
As our eyes met I realized it was timeN
Time for a new quirk a new jumpO
I stretched my arms and she smiled like a chapP
A smile that went clean to my marrowQ
And my eyes shut in their own furrowQ
-
Relinquished in real time image nationR
I began to draw the future closerS
And I woke up to the soothing of her soft skinT
Her voice telling me the only thing I wanted to hearU
I love you and because of you I am hereU
-
Yea it was a dreamV
A dream so realW
That the following day I wrote a noteX
She complied and the dream came to lifeY
That was a new loveZ
