    I was roaming in the streets of turmoil
    Sauntering in the labyrinth of falsehood
    Nestled in the feminine cloaks of hood-rats
    When I suddenly stopped, in response to a voice

    It emerged as a negligible pimple just beside my privates
    I scratched the alien mercilessly and I thought I had finished it
    The following morning it had gained momentum, bombshell!
    Developed into something too big to be called a pimple

    Whenever I tie my shoelaces to accomplish something
    Every time I want to take a significant step in my life
    I hear echoes of menaces whimpering inside my cranium
    An unseen voice whispering to me that I cannot make it
  • 4.  
    I loved her more than she could imagine
    Esteemed her more than she could envision
    She was my reverie from the moment we did chance
    But I was nestled in masks of fear and pretense
