Standing right on 00:05 by the clock
Nothing really seem to be my shock
But it appears a wonder
How today is missing from the calendar
Yesterday is the last I see
A new page, oh, can it be?
Could there have been a mistake?
Or a correction to make
I have an answer to my query
Yesterday ended an old story
Closing a whole chapter of worry
And now a blank page to write life anew
To write on each line a word of joy that only a few
Can read to the end without joyfully shedding a tear
I'm not living on this page like yesterday for I now know that; It's a Brand New Year.
What Is Today?
