| With a heart that beats with passion and love | F |
| A soul that yearns for connection and compassion | G |

| Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning | H |
| In a world that is deaf to my cries | B |
| Where my pain and anger are silenced | I |
| Dismissed as just another black boy's lies | B |

| To let their ignorance and hate control me | C |
| I will rise above their bigotry and bias | B |
| I will break the chains of their stereotypes and quiet us | B |

| I am a human being with dignity and worth | K |
| A person who deserves respect and support | L |
