Her lips uttered her despair in fear | F |
She was rich but now deserted | G |
Beautiful but now ugly and contorted | H |
She said to me is this the end of our suffering | I |
Oh poor she how she wept for her offspring | I |
She kissed my forehead and let out a cry | J |
A cry from the deepest trench of her heart | K |
When will Africa my husband arise | L |
Sat she fist clenched on my mat | M |
