Rain clouds in the middle of the night,
The owls refused to fly.
Emptiness, all tinted in the dark sky,
Running helter skelter, am I outta my mind?;
Tossed by the beauty of the walkway,
Unprepared, I gave myself away.
Never noticed the swam of baits,
Too late, now shut behind the gate.
