My heart is so empty
Sounds like an empty jar, bereft of honey and milk
It's all that has made it so worthwhile
To keep it in the vault of my chest
This heart of mine yeah the misery of my life.
I want to cry Oh Lord I want to cry
But for whom shall I shed my shameful tears
Of cause, not for those that shatter my heart
Hell no, I won't do it, they poisoned my honeypot
This heart of mine so fertile and passionate.
I thought love, begets love
But mine love I sowed, up shot insanity
I pruned the vines, hoping to get some fruit
All the effort was for naught, the more I gave the more I hurt
This love of mine, is a sad kind of love.
