Sometimes life becomes so lonely
That you wish you never was
But hope keeps you going
Through those tortuous alleys
Endless nightmares of love untouchable.
I converse to myself
In the silence of my loneliness
My heart crumbles
To a pain I just have to endure
For reasons more than just love.
I have made love in my dreams
That love most unsatisfying
Thinking and cherishing good days missed
Wishing and hoping
That love will find a way.
The way to my heart has been so open
Looking for love in all places
All but the wrong places
Only those sweet memories
Bring my mind from hell.
I think of my flowers of the jungle
That jungle I wandered in
Looking for all that I already had
So now I regret my failure
To see the greatest love of all.
