On Callous Knees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMLNFOJJJ NPJJQRSTJ

Colonization Slavery blessing or curseA
We can debate the case no need to farceB
They are just pages of a human historyC
Closed these pages hide their contentsD
Open we learn the pains the mistakesE
Yet it remains our choice to or not toF
Cure the infinite ache or wash our soiled bodiesG
Ignore today's similitude's of our pastH
Yet through history's diaphanous shadowsI
A monster drools in the shadowed wildsJ
Its libidinous prongs surfeit with poisonK
Threatening to wallop a generation supine by surrenderL
A real catastrophe on our books whichM
If you listen carefully beyond the crackle of gunfireL
You can hear the groans of deathN
You can feel the heat of misery throughF
The cornucopia of a better worldO
Mute blind insensate perfidiousJ
I mean no harm nor hate just mournful devotionsJ
From the abyss of my pestilenceJ
It stinks from copious perspiration's of deathN
In a day or maybe two I will suffocateP
This voice will die before it shinesJ
AIDS is a monster I hope my voice echoesJ
Into human hearts tumid with loveQ
This voice is hoarse eyes strainedR
Knees callous the God of Africa is overwhelmedS
Just bless our Africa we say again and againT
Oh Lord of GreatnessJ
