Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE DFDGH IJDKC LMDNO DDPQR FMSTU

I sit in the modest Mexican restaurantA
I wonder how I got hooked upB
To this chicken quesadilla a Mexican specialC
I cringe to the bite of JalapenosD
They burn my mouth but I love it all the sameE
-
From the louvers of the Venetian blindsD
I peek on the road outsideF
The traffic light blinksD
Red amber green so goes the dayG
A control of the animals behind the wheelH
-
They pass in all sizes and shapeI
In all colors and ageJ
Still they abide by the same rulesD
Stop go and turnK
Why then can't life be that simpleC
-
I cry from deep withinL
I weep for the soul I am sellingM
For a life of wishful dreamsD
No one stands in my way but meN
I cuss myself I am a pussy am IO
-
Life is not cars it is driversD
A parked car gathers dust and leavesD
Finally it seizes it just won t ever runP
The driver loses he moans day and nightQ
For the good times and places he used to driveR
-
I cry from deep insideF
Oh Lord I hate cryingM
How I wish for a time I won t cry no moreS
A time for my eternal dreams to treadT
For them to walk the road I lustU
