| To do for him nothing I missed | A |
| For him I was prepared to defy death | B |
| Then I realised he was not worth | C |
| When he refused to give me a hand | D |
| Or in my need close to me stand | D |
| So from my life I erased him clear and loud | E |
| Just a passing cloud | E |
