Once like a daughter and | B |
once like a spouse | B |
with no difference at all | F |
They have painted me | B |
and call me possessive | G |
They have uprooted me | B |
and call me emotional | H |
They have planted me | B |
and call me mendacious | B |
And made me 'what I am not ' | I |
Woman is not born but created | B |
out of their conscience | B |
with some exaggerated corroboration | A |
To label her as a thing to play with | J |
A thought never to feel | K |
A feeling never to adhere | L |
And an idea always to imagine | A |
