A Street Beggar Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCADAEAAAFBGBBAH

A street beggar beseechesA
Door after door to impetrateB
for alms and charityB
His penumbra torn upC
and stiched by jagged scrapsA
Conjure a baleful illustrationD
how a panhandler materializesA
There is a sloven bowlE
held in his enervated handsA
Shudders and tremblesA
and makes a chink of coinsA
Cracks would appearF
att distance on his bare feetB
And eyes sunken deepG
against his diminished fateB
Beggar is not congenital by destinyB
Rather born from usA
and dehumanizes his statureH
