The Sisters Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCA DDEFGH IJKDLL MNAOPQ RSTFU VWXAX Y

I am twelve years olderA
Than my youngest sisterA
When she was a little girlB
She followed me everywhereC
Like a dog that loves its masterA
-
She is very much like meD
Wrapped in a different bodyD
She adoredE
Everything I gotF
From the sole of my feetG
To the top of my headH
-
She suffered in silenceI
My tenderhearted lash and pinchJ
And all the treacheries I committedK
She idolized and loved meD
Every single dayL
Till doomsdayL
-
Sometimes I hideM
Just to be by myselfN
Away from herA
But she is like a mushroomO
That sproutsP
Anywhere overnightQ
-
At the onset of her youthR
She did a degree turnS
She hated all thingsT
That I gotF
Including my brain and gutsU
-
And now I always wishV
I could turn backW
The hands of timeX
And be with my sisterA
All the timeX
-
