Oh how lovely that cotton handkerchiefA
Hiding in the pocket of her red dressB
So ornately decoratedC
The purest whiteD
And she wears itE
With a slight touchF
Of Light Blue Dolce GabanaG
-
She dabs her face with itE
And uses to suppressB
An impending laughH
Most of the timesI
It is what she clings toJ
As if where her life dependsK
As she softly wipe her tearsL
-
She shed tearsL
More than she had toJ
Everybody is goneG
Friends were no longer thereM
To weep with herN
-
She got wrinklesO
Like the map of her lifeP
Large veins snaking her fragile handsQ
Yet she permed her hairM
And still the crowning gloryR
Of her beautiful faceS
-
Gray carpeted the skyT
But still the sunset beacons herN
By witnessingi its grandeurU
She appreciated all giftsV
Life has given herN
-
As she held the pocket of her dressB
Where her handkerchief liesW
She has no more tearsL
To keepX
It is time to shedY
Their tearsL
For herN
