The Blue Wingback Chair Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEB FGAHIJKL MNOPQQ RSATUB BQABVBW

The blue wingback chairA
Nestled into the cornerB
Of our living roomC
So old and worn outD
A part of my lifeE
As far as I can rememberB
-
It was my strongholdF
When I was a childG
The punishment chairA
For my misdeedsH
It was where I criedI
The tear marksJ
Are constant remindersK
Of my childhood yearsL
-
I can still recallM
I could lie for agesN
Wrapped in a cocoonO
Of soft blue silkP
And the wonderful memoriesQ
Of yesteryearsQ
-
But how can I forgetR
The best memory I have ever hadS
In the blue wingback chairA
It has been etchedT
In my mindU
ForeverB
-
Whenever I rememberB
My first kissQ
In the blue wingback chairA
It evokes pleasureB
Of knowing the first real tasteV
Of pure unfettered desireB
With my first loveW
