Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDC EFGCH BDIJK DLMNK OPQCB R

It is hard to say goodbyeA
To a wonderful dogB
Like Nickey BoyC
That knew no other joyC
Than to please usD
And be with his toyC
-
He is goneE
With his floppy earsF
And shaggy coatG
His puppy dog eyes full of joyC
So pure and playfulH
-
Gone is that vibrant dogB
That used to wait for usD
At the doorstepI
Stuck his ears at the doorJ
And wagged his tail endlesslyK
-
He brought happinessD
That is beyond measureL
With a heart of goldM
That has more than enough loveN
To go around to everybodyK
-
He will be dearly missedO
By everyoneP
We will alwaysQ
Always remember Nickey BoyC
As one in a zillion dogB
-
