Toilet Seats Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFGGHI JAKKHHAA

While I am emulating KeatsA
My brother fabrics toilet seatsA
The which they say are works of artB
Aesthetic features of the martB
So exquisitely are they madeC
With plastic of a pastel shadeC
Of topaz ivory or roseD
Inviting to serene reposeD
-
Rajahs I'm told have seats of goldE
They must I fear be very coldE
But Tom's have thermostatic heatF
With sympathy your grace to greetF
Like silver they are neon litG
Making a halo as you sitG
Then lo they play with dulset toneH
A melody by MendelssohnI
-
Oh were I lyrical as YeatsJ
I would not sing of toilet seatsA
But rather serenade a starK
Yet I must take things as they areK
For even kings must coyly ownH
Them as essential as a throneH
So as I tug the Muse's teatsA
I envy Tom his toilet seatsA
