To A Stuffed Shirt Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGHII JKJKLL

On the tide you ride head highA
Like a whale 'mid little fishesB
I should envy you as IA
Help my wife to wash the dishesB
Yet frock coat and stove pipe hatC
Cannot hide your folds of fatC
-
You are reckoned a successD
And the public praise you winE
There's your picture in the PressD
Pouchy eyes and triple chinE
Wealth of it you fairly stinkF
Health what does your Doctor thinkF
-
Dignity is phoney stuffG
Who is dignified deep downH
Strip the pants off call the bluffG
Common clay are king and clownH
Let a bulging belly beI
Your best bid for dignityI
-
Miserable millionaireJ
For indulgence you must payK
Yet there's salvation in prayerJ
Down on your fat knees and prayK
Know that with your dying breathL
There is dignity in deathL
