The Receptionist Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDE FGHGIEI EEEEJKJ

France is the fairest land on earthA
Lovely to heart's desireB
And twice a year I span its girthA
Its beauty to admireC
But when a pub I seek each nightD
To my profound vexationE
On form they hand me I've to writeD
My occupationE
-
So once in a derisive moodF
My pen I nibbledG
And though I know I never shouldH
'Gangster' I scribbledG
But as the clerk with startled faceI
Looked stark suspicionE
I blurred it out and in its placeI
Put 'Politician '-
-
Then suddenly dissolved his frownE
His face fused to a grinE
As humorously he set downE
The form I handed inE
His shrug was eloquent to viewJ
Quoth he 'What's in a nameK
In France alas the lousy twoJ
Are just the same '-
