And yet with hope and joy we plan | G |
A home beyond the sea | H |
Though I forfeit the name of wife | I |
And neighbours ostracise | H |
Such happiness will crown our life | I |
Their censure we'll despise | H |

If they should speak of you | K |
Your doting Jim will curse your name | L |

Well still with Jim she lives serene | M |

'Oh what a fool I might have been | N |
To leave my home ' says she | H |
'Of course Jim is a priceless bore | O |
But he's so sweet to me | H |
Come darling won't you let me pour | O |
