The Comforter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GBGB

As I sat by my baby's bedA
That's open to the skyB
There fluttered round and round my headA
A radiant butterflyB
-
And as I wept of hearts that acheC
The saddest in the landD
It left a lily for my sakeC
And lighted on my handD
-
I watched it oh so quietlyE
And though it rose and flewF
As if it fain would comfort meE
It came and came anewF
-
Now where my darling lies at restG
I do not dare to sighB
For look there gleams upon my breastG
A snow white butterflyB
