Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DADAEF GBGBAA HIHIJJ DBDBKK LALAMM

It was foretold by sybils threeA
that in an air crash he would dieB
I'll fool their prophesy said heA
You won't get me to go on highB
Howe're the need for haste and speedC
I'll never never never flyB
-
It's true he traveled everywhereD
Afar and near by land and seaA
Yet he would never go by airD
And chance an evil destinyA
Always by ship or rail he wentE
For him no sky plane accidentF
-
Then one day walking on the heathG
He watched a pilot chap on highB
And chuckled as he stood beneathG
That lad a looping in the skyB
Feeling so safe and full of gleeA
Serenely he went home to teaA
-
With buttered toast he told his wifeH
My dear you can't say I've been rashI
Three fortune tellers said my lifeH
Would end up in an air plane crashI
But see I'm here so safe and soundJ
By gad I'll never leave the groundJ
-
For me no baptism of airD
It's in my bed I mean to dieB
Behold yon crazy fool up thereD
A cutting capers in the skyB
His motor makes a devilish dinK
Look Look He's gone into a spinK
-
He's dashing downward Oh my GodL
Alas he never finished teaA
The motor ploughed the garden sodL
And in the crash a corpse was heA
Proving that no man can frustrateM
The merciless design of FateM
