Yet he would never go by air | D |
And chance an evil destiny | A |
Always by ship or rail he went | E |
For him no sky plane accident | F |

Then one day walking on the heath | G |
He watched a pilot chap on high | B |
And chuckled as he stood beneath | G |
That lad a looping in the sky | B |
Feeling so safe and full of glee | A |
Serenely he went home to tea | A |

With buttered toast he told his wife | H |
My dear you can't say I've been rash | I |
Three fortune tellers said my life | H |
Would end up in an air plane crash | I |
But see I'm here so safe and sound | J |
By gad I'll never leave the ground | J |

Behold yon crazy fool up there | D |
A cutting capers in the sky | B |
His motor makes a devilish din | K |
Look Look He's gone into a spin | K |

And in the crash a corpse was he | A |
Proving that no man can frustrate | M |
