Picture Dealer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFGHIHI BJBJFDFD FDFDKEKE LALAMNMN

There were twin artists A and BA
Who painted pictures twoB
And hung them in my galleyA
For everyone to viewB
The one exhibited by AC
The name A Sphere did bearD
While strangely brother B's displayE
Was catalogued A SquareD
-
Now although A and this is queerF
Could squeeze a pretty tubeG
The picture that he called a SphereF
Was blocky as a cubeG
While B though no hint he disclosedH
To pull the public legI
The Square he placidly exposedH
Was oval as an eggI
-
Thought I To sell these pictures twoB
I never will be ableJ
There's only one thing I can doB
That's change around the labelJ
The rotund one I called a SphereF
The cornered one a SquareD
And yet I thought It's very queerF
Unbought they linger thereD
-
Then strange as it may well appearF
Derision did I bareD
And blandly dubbed the Square a SphereF
And tabbed the Sphere a SquareD
Behold the answer I had foundK
For to my glad dismayE
The curious came crowding roundK
A sold the daubs next dayE
-
Well maybe A and B were rightL
Not mugs like you and meA
With something missing in our sightL
That only artists seeA
So what it is and what it ain'tM
I'll never more discussN
These guys believe in what they paintM
Or are they spoofing usN
